Miss B.

my mom is the best woman on the face of this planet.
and i am so incredibly grateful for her.
she always gives me the right amount of tough love and encouragement and hope
and she believes in me when I don't.

i'm entering a week that looks to be a little trying.
trying to figure out my leg infection, get caught up in school and prepare myself to SEND my favorite person on a mission for two years. It's a lot and I woke up this morning feeling pretty overwhelmed. As I tried to figure out who I wanted to talk to, or who would help me out the best, my mom called and told me she was just thinking about me and wanted to know how I was doing. We talked for a long while about a lot of stuff and as I expressed to her my concerns, she reminded me that I can do anything. I have already overcome a lot in my 20 years of life, and I can continue to do so, no matter what I am faced with.

So basically. I am just so grateful for my mom and for her support. I am excited to be home this summer (even if I am off my feet and miserable for a few months) because I'll get to spend time with her. I'm filled with renewed hope and encouragement to take this week head on, to have faith in the plan, and to love unconditionally. No one is going to bring me down.

Hello. My Name is Chelsie.
I'm 100% New England hardcore.
I'm working on being the best I can be.
for God. for my family. for the love of my life. and for myself.
i've set goals and i am going. to. reach. them.
I dare you to try and stop me.

Sending Saturday: Postponed

I am officially postponing sending saturdays until further notice.
or. I'm going to find new missionaries to write about.
Because right now, I feel very much forgotten and left out in the lives of my two almost missionary friends. I guess I should try to be understanding. With such a big and daunting task ahead of them and a lot of things to make sure are in place for when they leave, I should not expect to hear from them for long periods of time. But still....
I'm trying hard not to be bitter, so I'm just going to leave it at that.

Sending Saturday: Continental Collections

www.continentalcollections.blogspot.com

Check it. Follow it. Read it.

also. Hannah Montana movie. Much better then I thought it was going to be. Still cheesy, unrealistic Disney ending. And as much I felt that it was ridiculous, it's good to know that some things in life stay the same.

And I am aware this has nothing to do with missionaries.
oh well.

thoughts and prayers.

Sending Saturday: cut off

Well. When my two best friends/missionaries feel like returning my phone calls/text messages/facebook messages, maybe I will have something to say about them.
Until then, I will just sit here in New Hampshire, minding my own little business.

But should they read this (unlikely), just know that I am thinking of you, I'm praying for you and I miss you terribly.

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

These are my thoughts.
this is my prayer.

Sending Saturday: UGH

First let me state that no matter what:
I do NOT regret the last few months, nor the relationships I have shared and developed.

That being said:
I do know that my trust issues will be coming back. They already are here.
I do know that people run. No matter what they say, they run. And right now, I wish I could. I wish I had the ability to run so fast and hard right now, and never look back.

I am always going to doubt. I'm never going to let my guard completely down again.

I am ready to be back in New England. I am ready for my bed. I am ready for my cats and for snuggling. I am ready for my family. I am ready for my car and long drives with the windows rolled down and music blasting.

I am ready to be numb to this pain. Please let it go away. Please let the tears stop. I am so tired of crying. Please let me know that I can be on my own. Let me know that I can find happiness in other things besides the things that I have come to relish in the last four months. Let me deal with my feelings in the best way possible. Do not let me have any regrets. Please let me know that I can learn to be lonely.

These are my thoughts.
This is my prayer.
